Angie Brix joined the Gallivan & Associates team in 2007. She decided to pursue real estate to learn something new, as a way to get involved in the community and to learn how to start her own business.   She has found that through her efforts she can be a catalyst to help someone make a positive transition in their life and that energizes and inspires her. 

Angie has lived in the Champaign-Urbana area for the past six years and became a first time home-owner herself a couple of years ago in Champaign. She understands the emotions and uncertainties that can come with buying or selling a home, and she is committed to providing a level of service that creates a smooth process and all-around positive experience for her clients.

Although Angie is new to real estate, she brings a diverse array of educational and work experiences to the table. She received her undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University and upon graduation worked as a publicist in the music industry in Nashville. A few years later, she became the volunteer director of a local literacy organization there. After seven years of living in the Middle Tennessee area, she decided to move back home to Central Illinois to be closer to her family and to take a job at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. During her time at the University, she received a graduate degree in Human Resource Education.

Angie enjoys living in the Champaign-Urbana area and taking advantage of all the area has to offer. She also loves spending time with family and friends, walking her black lab, Jack, and she’s a huge Illini and Chicago Bears fan!!
